MGPL Moves to Curbside
With the announcement on Thursday, November 5, 2020 of Morrow County moving to COVID-19 Alert Level Red, the Mount Gilead Public Library is following its plan to move to curbside services. MGPL will continue to serve customers with curbside services only while the alert level remains raised.
We're Open
After closing the library building temporarily as a precautionary measure due to COVID-19, we are happy to announce that we are again open for all of our services.

MTC's Aspire program offered at MGPL
The Aspire Program at Marion Technical College (MTC) is a tuition-free service for people who need to work on basic math, reading, or writing skills that help them be more successful in their college courses, their employment situation, or their preparations for taking a high school equivalency (HSE) exam. Both college students and non-college students participate in Aspire classes.
MGPL Happy to Call 2020 Summer Reading Program a Success
Every summer for more than twenty years, the Mount Gilead Public Library has offered a summer reading program to keep kids and their family’s active and reading all summer long. While this year certainly had its challenges, the library is happy to call its 2020 Summer Reading Program a success.
