Summer movies for kids are back at Mount Gilead's Capitol Theatre! Bring the family to the theatre for our 2021 Summer Movie Series! Summer Movies are played at 11 AM and again at 2 PM each Thursday throughout the summer.

Our friends at the Grandview Heights Public Library are offering a free, ACT Crash Course online on June 4th. Space is limited and spots fill up quickly, so register today.

Do you love anime? Check out this club! The group meets on the last Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM. The group will meet on the 3rd Floor of the library.

Basic tax forms are now available at the library. Tax forms are located in the lobby on the 2nd floor. Forms may be picked at the drive-up window by calling before you come and requesting the forms you need. All blank tax forms are available free of charge

Parents, Stay Positive! FREE, 5-Week Course For parents and caregivers (grandparents, other relatives, guardians, etc.) of children from birth through age 8. Learn how to get more of the behavior you like from your children and less of what you don’t.

The Mount Gilead Public Library drive-up window (only) is now a distribution site for at-home COVID-19 test kits. “You drive up, ask for a kit and give some basic information and drive away,” said library director Melissa Kipp. "The process is easy and quick - and free.” No test kits will be handed out inside of the building.

The Morrow County Genealogical Society launched their new website on March 1, 2021.

The Mount Gilead Public Library  reopened for in-person browsing March 1st, the first time the building has been fully accessible in months. Hours remain 10:30 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday; 10:30 am to 5:00 pm Friday and Saturday; and closed Sundays. The staff will continue to provide drive-up and curbside service.
